Therapy Development Specialist

Position Summary

The Therapy Development Specialist (TDS) is responsible for therapy development activities of the Paradise uRDN system in the defined territory or region. He/she develops and executes strategies and tactics to successfully establish the ReCor and Paradise brand and to drive uRDN therapy awareness and acceptance of referring community in the catchment area of selected target key uRDN centers. The goal is to establish therapy acceptance and awareness for uRDN therapy and the Recor Paradise uRDN System as treatment option for hypertension patients in the market. Working in close collaboration with the local Therapy Development Manager and other internal departments like therapy development, marketing, training & education is essential for success. The position will report to the Senior Director Therapy Development DACH.

Responsibilities and Duties

Establish Recor Medical as the leading brand for RDN (Renal Denervation) therapies within the assigned territory
Identify, establish and expand strong relationships to relevant medical and non-medical stakeholders who manage HTN patients and refer to uRDN centers
Increase uRDN therapy acceptance and awareness in the referrer community within assigned territory/region
Create and expand pathways to improve care for HTN patients by establishing uRDN as additional treatment option
Analysis of effectiveness of HTN / uRDN networks and referral path structures
Effective and successful implementation of Paradise uRDN therapy development strategies and programs (e.g. educational events like webinars, training sessions, symposia, others)
Input on ReCor Medical`s commercial & TD strategy & execution
Territory planning, budgeting and forecasting
Get fully trained to provide educational support for referring medical staff concerning uRDN therapy and the Paradise uRDN system.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of scientific, medical and market dynamics related to therapy
Always comply with relevant internal regulations, SoP, manuals and external regulations and laws
Other duties as assigned

Your profile

Bachelor of Science Degree in relevant field (e.g. Life Sciences, engineering) or similar type of higher education and professional experience in Lifesciences or MedTech industry
Certification as a pharmaceutical consultant
Min. of 3-5 years of professional experience
Strong networking, plus communication and presentation skills, private practices and clinic experience
Ability to work with an interdisciplinary teams and within matrix structures
Enthusiastic, positive mindset and professional team player, self-starter mentality
Solid therapy development hands-on experience with a new innovative therapy
Clinical experience and background (medical device, pharmacology) is welcome
Positive can-do attitude and customer orientation
Analytical in approach with strong execution skills to drive and generate results
Excellent planning and project management skills
Computer literate with solid know-how of MS Office tools and programs
Fluent in German is mandatory.
Able and willingness to extensively travel (over 80% of time)
Role must be located within territory or region and will be home office based
